For more than a thousand years our city has remained a place of contact for different cultures and traditions, a source of inspiration and creativity. We will always bear the centuries-old Heritage of the Great Steppe - the cradle of great civilizations. Contemporary music, not only Kazakh but of all Turkic peoples, from Altai, Siberia and even other continents goes back to the depths of the centuries when one civilization worshipping the Great Blue Sky Tengri was one of the most important.
